A video “Love Story” is an opportunity for you, as a couple and individually, to tell your story.  Unlike the Memory Montage, the Love Story is usually a video instead of pictures.  We actually meet with you in a scenic location or perhaps even where the proposal took place.  We then videotape each of you, separately and together and just have you tell your story on camera.  We videotape interaction between the two of you maybe taking a stroll while holding hands or sipping a glass of wine, really whatever captures the essence of your unique relationship.  Lastly, we edit the video in a way that tells your story both through words and images.  The Love Story works great as a short video to play at a rehearsal dinner and ultimately opens your final wedding video.

Why Do I Want a “Love Story”?

First of all these videos are great fun, both for you as a couple and really for us as well.  It is your chance to be a star for a day.  And since these are generally taped prior to the wedding, it’s a great opportunity to step out of the wedding planning and bring into focus the reason for the wedding, your love for one another.  Secondly, and maybe not as obvious, is 10 years from now when life is full to overflowing, seeing this video will be such an amazing thing to watch.  A chance to step back in time and really know how you felt and see what your views on life were when things were much simpler.  As someone who has been married for 11 years and has two children I can say I am not the same person I was 11 years ago and to watch my wedding video and see how my husband and I have both grown and changed is fascinating.  And that’s a good thing!
